Old radios do one thing with one knob. What that means for settings screens.
I restored a 1960s radio this summer. It has two controls and nobody has ever needed a manual for it.
Every setting is a question
Each toggle asks the user to make a decision. Before I add one, I ask whether I can make the decision for them.
