The brief
A small press publishing six novels in translation wanted the series to look like a set on the shelf.
What I did
Each book gets one simple shape, a circle and a bar, placed on a shared grid. The colours come from the first scene of each novel.
What changed
The series is on its second printing and was shortlisted for a small-press design prize.
